Summary:
Who is Faustine? When Faustine Spencer was five years old, she discovered a secret that changed her life forever. At twelve, her parents sent her to Bonfire Academy in Switzerland to ensure that she received the training needed to control her increasing powers.

Three years later, Faustine returns to Manhattan. All she wants is to be a typical teenager, at least, one that’s part of the in-crowd at her Upper East Side High School. When drop-dead gorgeous Ryker, her long-time crush from the Academy, finally notices her, she couldn’t be happier.

However, her desire for a normal life is shattered when her father, a prominent sovereign, disappears after naming her as his successor. Her siblings begin to disappear, and Faustine finds herself in the midst of a power struggle. With her life in danger, Faustine must learn to follow one of Bonfire Academy’s most important rules: Trust no one.

Review:
Rose really knocked my socks off with this one! I am a huge fan of her Portal Chronicles so when I heard Rose was coming out with a YA paranormal, of course I had to jump on it! Rose has always had an interesting mind so I knew that Faustine was going to be a wild ride, and a wild ride it was!

Faustine Spencer is a very special girl, a very special girl indeed! Faustine was sent to Bonfire Academy, school for paranormals where they are taught to live by certain rules, especially in the "normal" world. Faustine was there for three years and now she finally gets to go home to her mother and what friends that she knew. Not only was going to a normal high school going to be a very different experience, but she gets stared at because of her red eyes. See, I told you she was special.

Faustine gets pulled into a world she never truly knew and gets to team up with witches, demons, and even one very sexy Wanderer names Ryker. If you all read Rose's Portal Chronicles, then you all know she is known for her Wanderers! Have I mentioned how much I love Rose's names for her leading males?! Kellan. Kellan Lutz. Enough said.

Faustine is full of adventure, witches, demons, Wanderers, vampires oh my! Full of suprises, fun, and rules that paranormals must go by if they expect to live in the "normal" world is what Faustine is. Imogen Rose is an author that you do not want to just pass by and forget! Take my word, Rose is very talented and I simply can not wait for more in Faustine's tale because even though I have no idea what will happen next, I am sure Rose will not disappoint!
