Movie Review:Ninja Assassin

Title:Ninja Assassin
Release Date:Novemeber 25, 2009
Leading Roles:Rain (Raizo) and Naomie Harris (Mika)
Rating:Four Hearts

Review:
First of all let me talk about Rain, he's from Seoul, Korea, and my grandmother is from there! So, yes I am part Korean, as well as a hundred other things.
Back to the movie.
It was amazing. The graphics were really cool and the action, was WOW.
It might be a little inappropriate to some under the age of 18, but it is really cool.
It must have taken the Ninja's months to train.
Im going too upload the trailer, but let me tell you, the actual movie is a thousand times better.

Movie Review:The Bounty Hunter

Title:The Bounty Hunter
Release date:March 19, 2010
Leading Roles:Gerard Butler (Milo) and Jennifer Aniston (Nicole)
Rating:three hearts

Review:
I was so excited to see this movie ever since I saw the trailer when I went to see "When In Rome".
Me and a couple of my girls went out today to catch it.
It was not disappointing.
My sexy Scottish was a real prankster and of course a sweetheart.
"The Bounty Hunter" was full of laughs, sighs, and OMGs!
Gerard and Jennifer did not disappoint in this role. I knew Gerard was going to be a blast but Jen really added the punch.
I would recommend this to anyone and would defiantly watch it again.

Review:DemonFire by Kate Douglas

Title:DemonFire
Author:Kate Douglas
Pages:352
Publisher:Zebra; (March 1, 2010)
Reading Level:Romance
Rating:three hearts

Summary:
Eddy is a no-nonsense reporter who leaves stories of alien races to her father and scoffs at such notions as the town statue coming to life. Until said statue attacks her home. According tothe mysterious Dax, demons are crossing over to Earth, determined to disrupt the balance between it, Abyss, and Eden, and to destroy them all. Eddy and Dax know they can’t stop this catastrophe on their own, and luckily for them, alien races aren’t merely the stuff of fairy tales after all. A ragtag band of races goes forth to stop the demons, but time is running out

Review:
I won this book from Laurie, and it was great.
Ill keep this review sweet and short, I prefer them that way.
If you want a demon who will fall in love with you within a week Dax is your demon.
Aside from Dax and Alton, a sexy Lemurian, you will find plenty of exciting things along.
You might find things a bit creepy, I did.
Awkward much?
But any who, DemonFire is definitely going to be a demon book I will never forget.
At parts, you may get a little emotional, not that im saying I did. :]
If you like paranormal, thriller, and horror, DemonFire is a must. The next book in the series HellFire, will be fangtastic.

Have fun!

Reading Level:Young Adult
Rating:Four Hearts

Summary:

Neither teen is prepared for the most surprising chemical reaction of all – love. Can they break through the stereotypes and misconceptions that threaten to keep them apart?

Review:
I first heard about this book because I saw a book called Rules Of Attraction and decided to check it out.
Perfect Chemistry is the first book in the Perfect Chemistry trilogy.
The book seamed interesting enough and I was obsessed with the trailer for Rules Of Attraction.
When I got this book, like I do all books, I sat down and didnt finish until I was done with the book.
It wasnt until I was done with it that I realize I was thirsty for more. I couldnt wait for Carlos's book.
Perfect Chemistry is for the ages 14 and up for a reason. Some younger kids might find things offensive or inappropriate.
Personally, I am in love with this book. I got it yesterday night and I've read it twice since then. Its that good.
You may not be interested in the book, some people just may not be. I say give it a try. But, if you do you like it as much as I do, you are going to go stir crazy for the next book.
Have fun!

Heres the trailer for Rules Of Attraction ive been obsessed with:

I cant wait for this!

Review:The Vampire's Kiss by Cynthia Eden

Title:The Vampire's Kiss
Author:Cynthia Eden
Pages:200
Publisher:ImaJinn Books (March 2005)
Source:Bought
Reading Level:Romance
Rating:Two hearts

Summary:
William Dark is a monster. He is a vampire, a dark creature that feeds on blood and fear. He is exactly what Savannah Daniels needs.

A year ago, her twin brother and his wife were brutally murdered. Savannah swore a vow of vengeance against the man, the beast, that killed him. A beast that is now after her. Savannah needs William’s help in order to keep her vow. She must convince him to transform her, to give her the kiss of the vampire, so that she will be strong enough to defeat the killer that is on her trail.

Savannah and William enter into an unholy alliance: He will transform her and see that she receives her justice. In return, she must be his companion, his mate, for eternity.

But, Savannah soon realizes that there is more at stake than just her life. Because once she tastes William’s kiss, she knows that she may be in jeopardy of losing her heart, as well. And she will have to put all of her trust, all of her faith, into the hands of a man who lost his soul centuries ago…

Review:
I was dying to get this book for a long time and when I did I was not disappointed.
Cynthia Eden, like Kerrelyn Sparks, has the same idea.
When the sun comes up, the vampires die. When the moon comes up, they are brought back to life.
In this book you will find betrayal, love, friendship, longing, and happiness for a man who never thought he could be happy again.
William went through many things in his long lonely life. Went from being turned into a vampire, to hating his brother, which he always hated, to losing his brother, which he loved.
Personally, I think that when a person has a dark and horrible past, when they get happiness, it's the best.
Does that make me a bad person?
The Vampire's Kiss is definitely on "read again" pile.

Win a Box of books! @ The Bookologist

Win one of three Box's of books here!
I know I want one. :}

Title:Bite Me If You Can
Author:Lynsay Sands
Pages:384
Publisher:Avon (January 30, 2007)
Source:Bought
Reading Level:Romance
Rating:three hearts

Summary:
One minute Leigh is walking home in the early hours of the morning, and the next a vampire is sinking his teeth into her neck. Turns out it was a rogue vampire marked for termination, but it does Leigh little good because the damage has already been done. She’s become one of them.

Lucian Argeneau, hunter of rogue vampires, has been alive for over two thousand years, and there’s very little to excite him anymore. Food has become tasteless, sex is ordinary. Then Leigh drops into his life. Suddenly he finds himself craving coffee… and imagining the sassy brunette atop the black satin sheets on his nice big bed. It’s Lucian’s job now to enlighten Leigh on the inner workings of being immortal… and tutoring her is igniting a fire in him that hasn’t burned in centuries.

But until they stop a renegade bloodsucker from destroying the human race, the passion will have to wait!

Review:
Out of the whole series, this has to be my favorite.
If you've read the series you know how Lucian is. The mean uncle, protector. In this book Lucian meets Leigh, and his world is turned upside down.
In this book you get to see in Lucian's mind, scary I know. But you might want a Lucian for yourself ladies.
Be prepared when you read this book. You will get a whole new look on Lucian and possibly the whole family.
You might laugh, I did. Some if the things men will do to get woman. Especially when they're a few thousand years old.
You even get to meet Lissi and Gregs baby!

Review:Here Kitty Kitty by Shelly Laurenston

Title:Here Kitty Kitty
Author:Shelly Laurenston
Pages:336
Publisher:Samhain Publishing,(July 3, 2007)
Source:Bought
Reading Level:Romance
Rating:three hearts

Summary:
What do you do when you've got a hillbilly tiger by the tail? Or maybe the question should be: what wouldn't you do…

Nikolai Vorislav likes his single life just as it is. Simple, relaxing, and quiet. What he doesn't need is some foul-mouthed Texas hellcat living in his house, eating his food, flirting with his idiot brothers, and shooting holes in his home with his granddaddy's gun. But those long legs, dark eyes, and lethal tongue are making Nik insane and he fears he may be caught in the sexiest animal trap ever.

Angelina Santiago doesn't know how she got from Texas to North Carolina in a night or how she ended up in some hillbilly tiger's house wearing only a sheet. What she does know is that she doesn't like good ol' boys with slow, sexy drawls who can't seem to stop rubbing up against her. Yet in order to protect her friends, Angie has to stay with a cat who seems hellbent on finding all sorts of delicious ways to make her purr.

Review:
First of all, this book was hard to find.
First, it took me like twenty minutes to look, then I had to ask. The man couldn't find it so I went in search for another. I then asked another guy and we couldn't find the book, but when we went in the same section, we bumped into the first guy and then he found the book.
On the book:Great book.
I love the fact that they're tigers. I've never met a tiger before and I must say, I like them just fine.
Nik was incredibly sweet. He is all man, never doubt that, but to Angie, he is sweet. On the other hand, Angie was a little, eh to him. In the end, of course, they got along just fine.
There's not much to say without giving away spoilers.
Go buy it.
P.S this is the third book in the series.
The first book and second book I havn't had the pleasure of getting. If you decide to read this, you won't feel confused. But if you happen to be fond of another couple, then maybe you should go buy the first two as well. I know I will, in time.

Happy Saint Patty's day!

Okay, so im not going to lie here. I forgot it was Saint Patrick's day. I text my friend and she reminded me. All well!!!!
Well, I didnt get pinched. I did wear green. It wasn't until today did I realize I don't have much green. I was stuck with green eyeshadow, socks, and a green cheetah scarf. I would do anything from getting pinched. I HATE to get pinched, punched, slapped or anything, because I may be slow, but when I catch you it will hurt :]
I happen to be heavy handed.
Any ways, how was your Saint Patty's day so far?
P.S I hoped you liked the pic. A little something in case you happened to get pinched to take away your pain for a wee moment or two.
Wee, haha. *smiles stupidly*
